About me

Hi, Im Paula. I am the youngest of eight children and I have four older sisters so makeup was always around me and my love affair with it begun at a young age. 

When I was a little girl, I would raid my mums makeup bag putting on her mascara and lipstick. I even wore it to school photos once..... let's just say "panda eyes" and leave it at that.

When I was twenty four after working in retail for many years I decided to follow my love of makeup. I enrolled in my first makeup course and realised I wanted to focus my makeup career to bridal and glamour makeup. 

I started my mobile makeup business in 1999 and truly love expressing my artistic side. I loved transforming my clients for wedding and other events and parties making them feel glamorous and confident. I also enjoyed the time spent with my clients chatting, having a laugh and getting to know them in the process.

I married my husband in 2000 who I met when I was fourteen and had my first child. I continued my makeup business and added hairstyling.

I have trained with some of the best in the industry such as Meryll Falkner of 'Making Faces', Melissa Sassine and Lizzy Liros. I have taken all the things I have learnt and created my own unique signature style which I call Natural glam.​

I believe makeup shouldn't be a mask on your face rather something that enhances your natural beauty. I want my clients to feel welcome and relaxed when they visit my studio.

I listen to my clients and work with them to create the perfect look for the occasion. So at the end they feel confident, stunning and glamorous when I hand them a mirror.
